Arlington Boys and Girls Club Youth Tours State House

The children of the Arlington Boys and Girls Club summer program experienced State Government first hand as they toured the State House on Tuesday, July 22nd. While visiting the history rich building, the children learned about how bills are passed, the role of the Governor, and other legislative basics. After the tour, the group met with Arlington legislators Senator Donnelly, Representative Kaufman, and Representative Garballey for a picture on the steps of the Grand Staircase.

Guided tours of the State House are offered to the general public free of charge on weekdays every 30 to 45 minutes from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
